I was a little gun-shy about giving this workout to my Masters group this morning. I handed it out with lots of warnings about not doing too much butterfly.

An IM set done by someone who doesn't particularly enjoy long IM sets.
This week's set follows the theme of learning how to pace yourself from start to finish through a workout.
is week's set LOOKS like a freestyle set with a little bit of stroke work thrown in. But it's really all about the 25s of stroke, which you swim AFTER doing a bit of freestyle.
A mellow recovery set or something more challenging...you decide.
Today marks the 9th anniversary of Barbara's Masters team, the UVRays. To celebrate the day, they swam a workout filled with "9s."
This main set got many thumbs up today from the Masters group that Barbara coaches.
Mellow 400s today, interspersed with 75s that get faster throughout the set.
This week's set looks kinda plain on paper, but it "swims" great. It allows for a tremendous amount of individual choice, but still keeps a group of swimmers together.
This week's drill features some different and fun ways to use a physio ball to work on technique for all your strokes.
Set of the week in honor of Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps.
Interesting IM set putting pressure on your best stroke as the set goes on.
Nice long stretch it out practice this morning mixing in 500's and 75's.
We are a group of swimmers who swim really fast, and like to help others learn how to reach their competitive potential in the area of professional swimming.
